Hi Charlie
First of all one cannot use both Outlook and Outlook Express. When
loading either will ask if you want which one to be the Default Email
program. You can of course keep swapping between the both but not
really the best thing to do..
One other main point is that Outlook Express is NOT supported by MS
and they will refer you to the firm that supplied the computer if one
did. If from a MagCD then it is Hard-Luck for any help..
However MS Outlook being a "Paid For" program IS supported by MS and
there are many Updates on their Site to keep you happy downloading
for a few hours trying to Plug all the "Holes" within the program.
Unfortunately as I and others have found is that one or two of the
Updates affected both programs whereby when new, OE & Outlook loaded
in seconds but mine and many others now take exactly 31 seconds to
load..
I had no help whatsoever from MS about Outlook Express and found not
one certain thing on the Outlook Site as to how to right this
annoying thing..
