A friend moved to the USA after living in the UK. On his first weekend there
he went into a supermarket and asked where he would find a joint. He meant a
joint of meat to cook, the assistant thought drugs and called security.
Incidentally, in the uk serviette and napkin can be almost interchangable. In
the USA be specific !
