It is marginal, unless the lamp will see long periods of being left on.
Left on, the warm-up time is unimportant and they last very much longer.

As much as that? We pay 15 to 20p each for the normal BC lamps, only
rarely do we need to replace one. Her ladyship was deeply saddened a few
weeks ago by the demise of a lamp which had survived 30 years of short
periods of regular use and two house rewires.
Operating voltage has a dramic effect on the lifetime of these lamps.
Try recording your mains supply voltage over a reasonable period of
time. Watch for the peaks. Lamps used to be available at several
voltages from wholesalers, perhaps they can still be had?
