You asked, suggesting they had only just appeared on the market in
Oregan, I answered. They have as some else pointed, been available for
some 30 years here. The problem was that they were so expensive compared
to the savings to be had in reduced consumption, that they did not
become common until the last 10 years. Now they can be found for little
more than the cost of some of the more expensive filament lamps.

Can I ask as the horse-less carriage appeared yet in Oregan?
