Subject: A small observation.
Those with loooong memories might recall I once had problems using a mouse
with a new laptop with the G4JNT "Geog" suite of programs used for VHF/UHF
path analysis.
It was a new WinXP laptop that played up.
With the recent acquisition of a new old laptop (an IBM Thinkpad) using
the same WinXP and internal mouse I discover no problems.
I suppose the moral of the story is that there must be some discrete
hardware differences despite the idea of IBM *clone* PC's supposedly being
the same ;-)
