Go a friend with an Old 800 Meg Gateway PC which has no Network Card fitted
and not one on MB either.
Bought a New DELL and as it is a small business the old PC has a lot of data
on it that requires shifting to the New Dell.
Searched all my junk but no PCI Network card, Asked about and same results.
So it crossed my mind that if you can transfer over over the Serial port for
which there is No Connection on the Dell ? Are they obsoleate now ?
Is it possible to use the USB connections as even the old Gateway has 2
fitted ? Just a thought or has anyone a PCI Network card heading for the Bin
that can be re directed in my direction ?
Would be apreciated and any post of course will be refunded.
