An amateur radio youth initiative for the new millennium

OBJECTIVES.

To promote communication between young people world-wide throught the year 2000, using amateur radio.

To expand International friendships between young people through electronic means.

To promote a practical interest in the science of communication, with a view to long term commitment and involvement in amateur radio and professional communications.

To provide a practical insight into electronics and communications technology, looking towards the future.

To give young people valuable experience in the use of communications, with a view to career opportunities in the community.
