IARU Region 1 General Conference Lillehammer Norway 19-24 September 1999

Participating societies
As per 9 August 1999 44 societies has duly completed and returned the
attendance form. A list of these societies and their number of delegates/
observers to be found on NRRL's Conference web-page: http://home.sol.no/
~nrrl/iaru.
Other participants
The newly elected President of IARU WA4RA Larry Price and the former
President W1RU Richard L. Baldwin will attend the Conference.Vice
President VK3ADW David Wardlaw and Secretary K1ZZ David Sumner, both
new in office, will also be present.From IARU Region 2 the President
VE3CDM Thomas B. Atkins, HC2EE Eduardo Estrada, and YV5AMH Reinaldo
Leandro will come. IARU Region 3 will be represented by Director ZL2AMJ
Fred Johnson and 9M2SS Sangat Singh.
The whole Executive Committe will of course be there and the following

New Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee
LA9NT Anders Torp has replaced LA5QK Alf Almedal as Chairman of the
Organizing Committee from 1 July 1999. Alf continues as member of the
Committee.
