I have just read,with some alarm,that the USA and the FCC propose to give US amateurs who have the Technician plus licence class the CEPT 1. class equivalent status! This licence class only requires 5 WPM Morse code knowledge. It is my understanding that
I urge the CEPT countries,to demand that only GENERAL class licence holders and above,get CEPT 1. class status. This is only fair.
