IARU Conference Day 4
The IARU RIII Conference in Darwin is having a "non-working" day today,
Thursday. The conference will resume on Friday.
During the break delegates are visiting Litchfield National Park, a popular
tourist attraction 120kms southwest of Darwin, and while members of the Darwin
Amateur Radio Club have been rostered to keep special event station AX8IARU
on air.
When the conference resumes in plenary session, delegates will receive and
vote on the many recommendations from WG1, WG2 and WG3.
The final matters to be dealt with by the conference are the election of
directors and coordinators, and selection of the venue for the next conference
in three years time.
