One last driving rule:
When passing a pedestrian, waiting in the wind and rain at a bus stop in
winter. drive through a puddle if there is one close to him.
If not, slow down as if stopping, then smile and wave, gun your engine and
drive away with pip of your horn.
This will bring on the sense of satisfaction felt by all drivers
when encountering someone who can't afford a car.
p.s. DON'T do it too close to home unless you are very big, fit and
muscular.
