Hello Andy!

I guess that The true value of Packet Radio is misunderstood by some.
Some say that because of the lack of people supporting packet, there are
holes in the system. I, for one, am in the process of filling one of
those holes by gathering the equipment necessary to do that as I am
typing. Positive actions are needed by everyone to improve the system.
In the meantime, using the bulletin system allows communication
beautifully.

There is too much negative thinking in this world. If all of that wasted
energy was used in a positive manner, just think of the possibilities...

There is nothing in my messages that require privacy. Secrecy brings fear
and doubt.

My hope is that with a new year around the corner, that some of the
negative thinking will turn around to positive thinking to benifit Packet
Radio.

Your comment about sysops interest's me because they have the most to gain
by promoting Packet Radio. They must be having some fun out of it, or
they wouldn't be sysops. I will shortly be a sysop serving Arizona and
connectina to the rest of the world. Being a sysop is one thing,
but the responsibility of a sysop is far more reaching than running a BBS.
They should set a positive example to everyone else.

I think your last question is a very important one. What I see a lot on
packet is not what I would call debating. I call it downright EGO. people have all of the answers... the problem is they don'
t understand
the question. Having said that, if you were new to packet and you ran
into all of the senseless arguing and if you were a reguler type person, I
don't think they would join in (at least not for long, as in my case).

The real answer to "But why isn't there more people doing packet radio?"
is that we need more positive leaders, out there, to promote a positive
attituw that is what I am trying to do! Deal with positive
thinking people and your life becomes more positive and you are lifted up,
deal with negative thinking people and you will be dragged down to their
level. They don't know how to get better and the only hope they have of
getting better is to drag you down to their level.

The moral of story is for all of us to think POSITIVE and put forth an
honest effort to promote Packet Radio.

Long Live Packet Radio!!!
