Hi and thanks for reading.
Odd sort of problem which is possibly me doing or not doing something or more
likely not understanding instructions ?
In a past employ I was in charge of Jukebox refurbishment and running the pub
Disco shows that were popular back in the 60's thus I have many many old 45's
that I would like to commit to CD, My loving daughter asked me what I wanted
for a present and I decided one of the Players that connect to the PC Via the
USB port would be great and give me plenty to do in my retiremeny days.
It came with software " audacity 1.2.6 which is supposed to be W98/ME/200/XP
and more important Vista compatable ? instructions tell me to click Edit /
Preferencews, Select Audio I/O tabe and select USB audio Codec from the drop
down Tab ??? What it fails to tell me is what to do if that selection is not
available ? I have tried installing on an Old XP machine and have same
problem ? List may be different but No USB Audio Codec is displayed ?
Am I missing some file for the Codec or am I just doing something wrong or
maybe someone knows of a better way or more user ( KISS ) software available.
I would be most gratefull if anyone has the answer, I have checked on the
websight given and disapointed that most data apears to refer to 2000 / 2001
but downloaded a trial BETA Version and got same results.
I feal it has to be ME so what am I not doing or missing to get it working
please ? Someone on this mode I feal sure has the answer.
