Many thanks to the replies on this subject, it looks as if my general
knowledge of things PC wise is a little bit out of date thus the confusion.
I managed to locate a universal unit on the internet which has now arrived
and glad to say it works well, main problem is with the owner ? She apears to
think that a 120 Gig HD has unlimited space and has so many Films installed
that the drive is at full capacity with a RED line indicated and no free
space available.
Just what she wants me to recover is yet to be arranged but it may take quite
some time if she wants all the films downloaded to DVD's ?
Thanks again to all.
