Hi All Readers
I have bought a SideKick tuneable mobile aerial which covers 3.5 to 54 Mhz.
It is nicely constructed and came complete with a Triple Mag Mount, control box and leads.
I have found that the suggested means of tuning by listening to the receiver noise doesn't work
because the electrical noise by the motor is too high.
Is this other hams experience ?
What can be done to reduce the noise level - where should external devices be fitted ?
Any comments would be of interest.
