Well How refreshing to find that this mode can still manage to do what it did
so many years ago at the start and provide real help when required.
So to John G8MNY who gave me the start to locate the elusive BIOS battery and
although it did not hold up to a charge it did do the job at the start and
thus I now must only find a replacement battery and this little beast should
be as good as new. ---- Thank you John.
To Mel G4WYW who sent me the Manual and lots of other helpfull bits of info.
Again my thanks and I will get around to sorting things out very soon,
unfortunatly I landed in hospital due to a heart problem so things got a
little delayed and our system here has been changed and updated so what
should have been simple to put this bull out, simply did not do so until now.
Once again may I say how plesent it is to find this Mode at this moment at
least apears to have settle back into the friendly helpfull system it once
used to be, may it remain so from now on.
I suppose that is asking for trouble or used to be, but I will chance it.
