Terry G4EUQ mentioned problems with sun glasses.
I  do  not  know  the  situation  in  the UK but here there is a standard for
sunglasses and they must be uv filtering and have side coverage to prevent uv
entering from the side.

Unfortunately as  I wear  glasses anyway  clipons that have the side coverage
just do not seem to be available. So hopefully I may never need the cataracts
removed if they  do not get  any worse. I  can read and  do the normal things
such as soldering with small tipped irons  etc as far as I can tell  the same
as I  have always  done. I  was never  a keen  beach goer  only going when on
holidays and other such times so that no doubt has helped.
