Hello All, Re My Bull, asking about 1/2 wave End fed aerials,
( PRACTICAL )
It has been interesting to read all the replys that this raised, BUT!
As far as I can read, they all quoted the theory of 1/2 wave E/F
Not one has said, Yes I have tried them and this is
How I matched it, A Web page gave links to various sites,
The two most interesting are,
AA5TB How to make an End-Fed Halfwave Antenna work,
(My best so far 3-1 ) NOT good enough!
and one by OE3MZE but unfortunatly He does not give
details of the L / C, matching option.
So WHAT is in the "Par Electronics" version remains a mystery,
as the unit in the Picture in the QST does not look large enough
to contain a Toroid and a "C"
Anyway it all makes intereting reading,
