For 20m, you could always make the matching unit using an air core coil plus 
postage stamp trimmer and housed in a 35mm film canister. 

Coax in one end, wire out the other = simple throw up portable antenna.

I used to be wary of anything ferrite for transmit purposes but eventually
learnt better. No ferrite core is lossy unless it's the wrong material or 
incorrectly used.
