Hi Andy and others.

Well since following all the advice and making a backup / ghost Etc

I have a printer problem once again, why my PC apears to have these problems
I have no idea but it is driving me NUTS ?

Windows XP-PRO with Canon Pixma ip 4000R.

If ? I use Outlook Express to download mail and then Click a message to print
I get an error; it says in Line 2020 cha 1 has an error code 0 and gives a

URL res://ieframe.dll/preview.dlg

Now I have had a look on the WEB and can find comments on ieframe.dll which
are non to good, nothing about the preview.dlg and more important nothing to
say how to fix the problem ?

All I do know is that the file should be ( according to file.net ) 5263360
bytes and the one on my PC is 5.76 Mb ? Obviously some descrepancy here.

Rename it to .BAK and test but other things no longer work, so obviously it
is required, leaving it and using Thunderbird I have no problems and the
printer works fine with everything else. Virus / Spy scans show all clear.

At the risk of being shot down in flames by Andy ? I will just say that I
have done all I can and downloaded from MS updates to a time/size I can
handle, then made a backup and followed this with more updates Etc.

Problem is that I do not normaly print messages, only if I get an email from
my sister in Aus and wish to show the XYL so in truth I am unsure just when
this happened.

My Older XP-PRO machine has not been updated for some time due to slow Dial
up and no real need as not used for internet, that one has NOT GOT !!! this
file unless it is hidden some place I am unable to find ?

So people Experts and Andy ? What the heck is this all about then ?

            Best 73 from John, Sysop @ EI3DIB.#TIPP.IRL.EU
