Hello and thank you for reading.
Due to the up comming JOTA in which I am involved on the Radio / PC Side.
We set about getting the IRLP system running which although we have here in
EI it has a code Letter access which is not available on a standard Phone
keyboard which we used last year to produce the tones.
Remembering that I had this Yaesu Mike YM-48 that came with my 726R many
years ago and got put away as never used, I dug it out only to find that the
tones produced would not operate the IRLP system ?
Has anyone on this mode got any information on this mike please ?
Is it IRLP and if so can I do anything to set and adjust it ?
I am told by others listening that the tones simply do not sound correct and
yes I do have plenty test equipment and note it has 3 pre sets inside but no
information is available as to just what is what.
Any help at all before this Years JOTA would be much apreciated, a Web sight
or any guidance at all even to say NO it is not going to work or yes you need
to change XYZ Etc Desperation comes to mind or perhaps frustration ?
What I thought would come in use some day, I hope can be made to work ?
