Hi <name??>
Do you have 7plus.exe? Than for DOS:
7plus.exe should be in a dir that is in the line PATH in autoexec.bat
(Here it is in c:\util)
Then go to the dir where the file is that you want to split in 7+ parts.
If the filename is Tinus.jpg than you type: 7plus tinus.jpg<ENTER>
and you will see that the file is been coded in 7+ parts.
This files you can sent by packet as bulletins or as personal messages.
If you have received 7+ files, which have been saved in a dir, than go to
that dir and if the parts are named as tinus.p01 tinus.p02 etc., than you
type: 7plus tinus<ENTER>
and the original files will be decoded to tinus.jpg
In case of an error an .err file is made and that file must been sent to
the sender of the 7+ files, he will send a .cor file.
Place that .cor file in the same dir as the other tinus.mf filke and type the
same as already mentioned: 7plus tinus<ENTER>
now the decoding will be completed. (read the doc file of 7plus.exe or the
help, which starts when you type 7PLUS<ENTER>
...this is all for DOS of course.
Most window programs like WinPack, WPP, TstHWIN do all that work automaticly,
here TstHWIN and WPP are used, so no work for me to do, TstHWin needs
7preC.exe to do the work at receiving, sending is built-in.
