Not using the connector on the back. My experience of making cables for
Kenwood radios (assorted models) is that using the microphone socket
(with/without attenuators) is fraught with grief. The back panel aux audio
connector always works like a dream.
Try using that instead.
Hope you didnt spend too much dosh on an RJ45 crimp tool :-)
