Hi Warren and all,
All your comments noted I'll just comment on a couple of points

I don't see that this makes sense in that the BBS network is MUCH simpler
now, BBSs are closing down at a much faster rate than new ones are opening,
there are very few of them left. You see each BBS as a potential failure
point whereas I see each BBS as a link in the network each performing
its role in allowing us to continue this conversation.

The reason things are not easy to follow and open to misunderstanding is
often due to your own style of titling bulletins and lack quoting.
As I've said before I'm reading and posting from the amprnet and get my
mail via NNTP and use a windows based newsreader. Bulletins are sorted by
topic into different newsgroups. Within each topic converstions are split
into 'threads' so as long as the title is preserved then each conversation
or thread is grouped together in chronological order as to when they were
posted.
Unfortunately because you constantly change the title, your postings do not
appear in the threads you are replying to. This becomes quite important as
often your bulletins are delayed and appear out of sequence, often the
discussion has moved on by several days by the time your bulletins appear.
This is made worse by the fact that you don't follow the conventions of
electronic mail and quote what you are replying to. Often this leads to
complete confusion and I find that I have no idea what your remarks are
about. Everyone can obviously write in whatever style they like but you
should be aware how these styles can have the potential to cause the
problems you describe.
