hello everyone.
i wonder if anyone ca n help with a problem on my realistic pro 26 scanner ?
i t has worked fine for years, running of a p.s.u, but several times i
noticed a blank screen. it turned out that the psu socket was faulty.
fine i thought, i will just solder power leads straight to the board.
no problem with that, but when put back together it went extreme low
volume on am .
i took it out of the case and reassembled it again but it was just the
same.
rather than risk anything else going wrong i built a little chip audio
amp and all was ok again.
the problem now is the extension speaker socket is also faulty.
so my question is, before i buy a new scanner, can anyone help with
the original fault?
many tnx
73/s terry g4ueq
