Hi All.

I have (as a general observation) noticed that packet radio seems to be dieing
(in areas where it hasnt already). People have lost interest in packet radio,
as the internet has come along, and the packet radio has started to die as
people have set up telnet links around the world (i have nothing against the
interet at all), and there is then nolonger the need for long distance radio
links (HF/6M).

I have noticed that lots of BBSs are now on the internet, and when messages
are sent mainly long distances, it goes via the internet, so the network falls
appart.

As i have said; i dont dislike the internet at all, and use it lots, on my
main computer, when i want to use the internet, but it has started to take
over the packet radio network - What happend to 20meters links (there are a
only a few left)?!

Has anyone else noticed this? Any comments?
