Yep, I've seen the same problem. Arrows work fine, but auto-seek doesn't do
anything. (I downloaded the latest version a few days ago, so it's not like
I'm running an old version.)

I am interested if anyone comes up with better ideas. I think I will
check with TimeWave and see what they suggest!
I have tried 2 ways, both seem about equal. I usually operate with my
narrow CW filter on in the rig then set my 599+ as follows:
1. CW mode @ 1000 Hz center freq and narrow the band pass as needed
depending on band conditions.
2. Voice mode and bring the bottom up and top down as needed.
-- I find in crowded conditions, as we have had lately, that there are
times I get under 100 Hz bandpass and just copy 1 signal using the rig
to tune in a station. Of course this takes away the computer tuning but
it sure helps to kill a LOUD signal next to a weak one.

Yes, all the Timewave DSP filters have linear phase bandpass, highpass and
lowpass filters.

Den,
Your settings are about right - you have correctly used the flexibility of the
DSP-599zx to accomodate varying conditions.
You might want to watch the Timewave website for a June announcement about the
DSP-599zx. Operating PSK31 with the DSP-599zx will be a little easier, among
other things. Please don't call or email until you see an official Timewave
announcement - we'll never get done if we get 3,000 phone calls and/or emails!
(Note, Timewave policy on newly purchased units is to provide free upgrades
for any unit purchased within the last 90 days before the upgrade.)

Yes, It's true that the US amateur tcpip community have been idiots,
alienating Hams on a large scale basis with their rude, ignorant behavior. -
But, as you pointed out, the problem is self-limiting. When Hams get
exasperated and tell them (tcpip goons) to take a hike, the arrogant,
ignorant behavior is no longer a "problem". - Is it? ;-)
I applaud the node-ops in Southern Oregon who have drawn a line against the
rude, ignorant behavior of amateur tcpip goons in their area. A little more
of this type of courage, and amateur tcpip goons everywhere will either
learn to get along with others for a change, or just plain take a hike and
stop acting like a pimple on the Amateur Radio community's butt.
