Subject: Rtty and PSK 31 interface Help needed
To add to information I sent in email:
You don't have to have a CT17, but IIRC, Writelog can use the serial
radio port to put the radio in TX mode, at least on some radios.
I don't recall if this works with ICOM radios, but it is a
possibility, but not the most common.

Subject: RTTY Contests Software for SWL ?
When doing some RTTY-Contest (BARTG EA-WW ...) last year, it was a very
hard job to type in all the stations into a txt-log on PC.
I wonder, why there is no software to do this job for me.
I am always working in Class SWL.
Does anyone have a idea ??

Subject: Sound card programming
I'm assuming this NG is appropriate for this question because
much ham software uses sound cards these days.
Are there any books in print on programming sound cards? I've
had an order in for the out-of-print _Using Soundbaster_ at
Amazon for two years with no success. I tried "soundblaster" and
"sound card" in searches at B&N and Amazon with no success.
"Sound" gets several thousand titles - too many to look at.
Any suggestions? Better search phrase?
Ken

Your best bet is probably the Microsoft Windows standardized
sound card interfacing DLLs. I forget the name of that library
at the moment.

The best of the best! HAL PCI-4000 digital modem. Sophisticated DSP
processor performs Clover, RTTY, Pactor, Amtor. Works with Express, XPWin,
Writelog, WF1B, XPPCI. Requires 1 full ISA slot but does NOT require an IRQ!
Card is 'A' model, serial number < 600, with latest proms. Trade for radio
or laptop of equal value.
