I might want to use "non-suppressed carrier" AM or FM mode.

Subject: Kiss eproms for tnc2 / tiny-2
I am looking for code to burn into the eprom of a tiny-2 (tnc2 clone)
to stay permanently in kiss mode. Has anyone got something? My local
ip node (gb7flk) is having problems with his tnc dropping out of kiss
mode. If the default setting is kiss this should not happen. My
programmer will take intel/hex/binary dump.
Thanks

A number of years ago, there was such a chip program called "JKISS" as I
remember. If TAPR doesn't have it, send me an email and I will try to
find it in my files.

Try browsing around the Mac Software at URL:
http://www.ac6v.com/pageap.html#MAC
John, WD1V is one of the Ham Mac gurus -- maybe E-Mail him after browsing.

Subject: NEW HARDWARE FOR DIGITAL MODES!
Hello all,
I hope that this message is not a problem being commercial in nature.
I work for a small electronic engineering firm and we have decided
to enter the ham radio market as a new cottage industry company, in
support of our hobby. We would like to announce a new product for
the digital modes. We are just about finished with our production
prototype testing and expect to be in production in about 6 weeks.
Please see our web page: http://www.westmountainradio.com
We would like feedback from this group, we are not ready to take
orders, we are simply asking for your feedback.
Thanks in advance.

Well, it does violate the netnews guidelines. Have you read the netnews
guidelines?

What is its principle of operation? For $80, I doubt it is DSP-
based and anything except a DSP-based design is obsolete. Is this
just another analog FSK modem? Is this just another level detector
design?

Bob, for $80 it should do more than I can do in my sleep.
An audio and PTT interface costs only $5 using brand-new
parts. I can put together a couple of dozen or so such
devices from free parts in my junk box.
