Subject: BBS software for 286's
I am interested in packet BBS software like this:
- It must be capable to run on 286 with 2 megs of memory,
- It must have capability to be linked to another computer that would serve
as client (i.e. for users' connecting to the bbs in a way they would do that
via radio),
- to be compatible with some networking packages (like BPQ, Flexnet etc)
- to be Y2K compliant,
- It must be capable to run with Baycom USCC card.
FYI, I wanted to do that with DosFBB515c with TFPCX, BPQ or Flexnet. I only
managed to have 2 USCC's onboard modems working when I used TFPCX but
couldn't get TFPCX to run another port for COM-to-COM connection to the
other computer. Beside that, FBB515c is not Y2K compliant.
