I love the idea of Pactor 2 calling freqs. for human-to-human QSOs.
What about 14.074.25, 21.074.25, 14.079.5 and 21.079.5.
Just a suggestion...

Are those frequencies mark, center, or indicated (LSB or USB, and high
or low tones)?

In order to avoid live QSOs aborted by S&F tfc, I think we must stay on
the de-facto 0.5kHz grid. If not, we have potential QRM from both sides.
Over the weekend, I will query my updated BBS database to find out which
QRGs have a minimum of BBSs scanning them. Of course we also have to
avoid the ever-widening PSK31 segment.
Will publish my proposal here soon.

Jerry,
You're in luck. PC-PAKRATT is still around and is even new & improved for
Windows. Check out: http://www.timewave.com
They have bought AEA & supports their old gear and some software along with:
http://www.ccsincorp.com
Also check out:

Dear yomama,
Why be so intolerant. Ham radio is a hobby, each of us has their own
specific interests. Many may not want to do anything digital. They
don't want to keep you from doing yours. All we want is to have fun
with amateur radio, in all its forms.

One common problem the first time out is having the mark/space inverted.
I don't have an MFJ, but if it's like most other TNCs, there should be a
command to invert them.
