The other modes yes, but Pactor-II is *not* FSK and you can't use the
FSK circuits build in to any of the rigs.

If it's not FSK, then what is it? PSK, maybe? Just wondering.

Pactor-II is a form of DPSK (differential phase shift keying). You
must send it through a SSB transmitter via the audio input.

In this country we help those who ask for it.
If Americans are asking for help on American originated newsgroups perhaps
your should only connect to newsgroups originating in your country.

In the US anyone that can memorize a bunch of questions where the
answeres are given can get a license. They do not have to know anything
about radio or electronics at all. My wife has what is called a Tech
Plus license. She did learn the code at 5 wpm an memorised the
questions . If you ask her anyting about the electronic part, she would
tell you she does not know a thing. Lots of others in the same shape
over here.
Lots of hams in the US can not even put on a coax connector. My idea of
a test would be to have someone put on a connector, check the swr of an
antenna , tune the final of a tube radio, tune an antenna tuner and
things like that.
I have an extra class and did not even look at most of the questions
before the test as I have been around electronics and ham radio for
abig part of my life. I would not have gotten the conde part if it had
not been for the multi guess questions about the code part.
You may want to go to the www.arrl.org site and see if you can find the
test questions and answers if you want to look at them. From this pool
of questions a ham will be asked a certain number of them picked at
random.
