Piero, I fear that we are both the victims of mail clients that do not
keep straight who is quoting whom. I have no idea how my name got
associated with what you are quoting.
I do not recall making the comments attributed to me - in fact, I agree
fully with you and use the spectral display in Logger for 99% of all
tuning. In particular, I DID NOT make the comments regarding the MixW32
program - I have not used that program since it first came out. But, the
instructions did make sense to me! ;^)
The only email I have ever sent Hamish had to do with multiband antennas.
I asked Peter when PSK31 first came out to enlarge the waterfall and he
declined, saying that if he did it would not then work on the older 486
computers of the type and speed he was using for PSK31 development.
Peter's tuning aids ARE adequate and all that is really necessary, but I
find that the spectral display adds a lot of information about the signal
and the band and allows additional flexibility in tuning.

Subject: how to setup and configuration ax.25 on the linux
There's clearly a lot more than just recompiling the kernel. In
[/usr/src/linux/]Documentation/networking/ax25.txt, there's a pointer (web
address) for more information.

Yes, you are right, there are majors updates on the internet, i just got
miself suscribed as you told me. There are 2 companies that pay us, the
internet user, for seeing their advertisment. They send you advertising on a
small window, about 1inch .
You are not obliged to click on it, not even to see it. They will pay you just
for having that little window. The more you stay connected on the net ,the
more money you have. This is not a miracle solution to get rich but it can
give you some easy made money.
If you'd like to have more info , please reply to decebal5@geocities.com
Thank you
Note: this message in my opinion is not spam, personnaly I don't "love"
spammers, it's only send to some newsgroups (not bulk ) and it doesn't give
any unsolicited information (the names of the companies or their webpages).
Please help the internet remain spam free, don't read or reply to messages
that you think are spam.
