Hi All

Mine as been running at 52/53c for quite a wile but on reading
the bulls going about I pulled the fan and heat sink a ordinary
cheapo alloy one gave the fins a good clean "the system is only
a few months old but it was full of dust" and replaced the
standard pad with compound the result a steady 47/48c.

I have seen some "silent coolers" in the shops they have a copper
heat sink with two pipes that run from the bottom to the top
just under the fan do these work on some sort of thermo siphon
system?
