Quoting from a previous message...
}
} Do you mean the CPU is at 38'C ? How long has it been running ?
} Mine is still hovering around 48-50'C.
}
I don't remember the last time it was switched off. I reboot every couple
of days but don't actually switch the machine off very often. I think it was
about 6 weeks ago when I changed fans.
} Whenever I've opened up the PC, the (copper) heat-sink never really seems
} very hot at all. I totally agree with you regarding the supplied cpu
} coolers as they are (in my experience) total bobbins.
}
} The one included with my 1700x originally, it sounded like a very large
} fan on an HT power supply. That was when it was INSIDE my PC cupboard.
}
} Now all I hear are faint whirs from the 2 HDs and my 30amp WS-25amp PSU.
}
This is noisy but after a while I got used to it so don't notice the noise
anymore.
