The use of mobile phones while driving has been banned here
in Western Australia for some time.

Everyone is "supposed" to use a Handsfree kit for there phone.

Useing a mobile while driving is a $25 fine and points of your
licence.

It been law for quite a while but idiots still drive and have
a mobile pressed up to there ear.

I have a Bluetooth attachment in the car that I use, but still
prefer to stop and talk, it lets me concerntrate on the call.

The Police here are not supposed to answer there 2 way while
driving if there is only one officer in the car, the single
officer is supposed to stop and answer.

Ham's are exempt at present but this may be changed.

I do know a few hams who use hands free kits when mobile.

I believe in some of the Eastern states that useing a 2 way
while driving has been banned as well.
