There is a move by some Federal pollies to bring in an act to enable opt in
only legislation. I have not heard anything of it laterly.
Re spam, I got one this morning from some British Lottery at 28 Tanfield Rd
Croydon London.
It tells me I have won 1,200,000 pounds and is a very plausable looking page.
It gives reference numbers for the claim and goes through the whole
rigmarole. It gives phone & fax numbers as well.
Are they just going to all this trouble just to collect email addresses ?
Just what are they up to ?
Any one with an A to Z able to check the Tanfield Rd address.
I note that they have not asked for bank account details, yet !
