hello, om,
i got a second hand YB500 receiver made by Grundig.
the performance as amateur rx is not as good as i expected...
but nice rds function on fm.
so, can u help to fix two problems:
1. fine tune range
the range is too small. if u step 1 kc up or down,
u cannot catch the edge of the previous qrg. there is a gap
of some 100 hz.
any idea how to extend the fine tune range?
2. jump to 3200 kc when tuning 160m
when i tune the 160m band, f.e. 1850 up using the up key,
the rx jumps to 3200 kc. this does not occure if i push the
key only just as a short pulse.
i guess, that the pll looses control and enters the next band.
what is your opinion about the little radio?
