Hi Ian and all,
English as taught is perfect(ly) tense but the moment grads hit the
streets it becomes common and perfect(ly) forgotten. Handbag? Purse? It's
been pocketbook since satchel hit the bricks. Have you ever heard of
Handbagmo or Pursemo... Pocketbookmo? I doubt even Louis Armstrong did
either...................
<boo hiss boo, bad joke>
Oh I got the point alright, you didn't get the joke. (;->) Seriously,
perfect and future perfect tense exist here just that we never use them
in common speech. Future perfect is like I said, so obscure about the
only place you'll find it is in prophesy and since "common knowledge" has
it as nonexistant a Biblical timeline looks more like a corkscrew.
Hey doc, where'd the duck go?
