Hi All
Perhaps someone on this thread could enlighten me on the "Hamcom
Interface" ? Does it use isolating transformers for the audio in and out
and optocoupler for the PTT ? 'cos that's the setup I've got at my end and
I don't suffer any "hash" problems, even though my PC is right next to my
rig! Works fine on all programs SSTV,Packet,WJST, and so on !
I've found (for what it's worth) that most interference is caused by the
Display/Monitor which incidentally very often has it's own switch mode
power supply, where if it's a problem the odd toroid on the interconneting
leads can cure the problem. Perhaps this would help a Laptop ?
