"BOING!" ... Sorry Tony , but thanks for the info, on the
" Puffing Billy Railway", that is, and includes historical
engines, even one from Canada.

The idea of the topic , was where and what engine, in UK was
the real "Puffing Billy". Also a term used in UK, as an
descriptive adjective to describe one sweating and breathing
hard ....such as... "He or she is like a puffing billy".

I am sure given the accents in UK, and the British Isles,
there is slants on this term.

Interesting. World Famous...now there is a interesting thought
used in many countrys, to describe what they "think" might be
"World Famous" , but in reality... is what? Really. Case in point
is a CD I go from South America, where this entertainer was supposed
to be "World Famous" ...but "BOING" ! He wasn't ...not to me
and others in North America. Only in their mind's eye.

"Puffing Billy Railway" is a great collection. But nothing beats
seeing the real McCoy ... which is a saying. Dates like 1797, in
plans and models, to existing upgraded actual engines or well boilers
on wheels. Some like the "Wylam Dilly" that saw service as both
on the rails and powering a steam powered boat.

For some reason Tony, this posting came here twice?
