Hi Pete and all,
Please, you're making much more out of the case than there ever was.
Filming was done in California so that's where the civil offence that
went before the judge was heard in a pre-trial evidenciary hearing. Since
the plaintiff failed to produce evidence the case was never tried. The
legal system works one step at a time so if and when a case is tried it
has already gone through several steps, if it fails to meet certain
criteria along the way there's no sense wasting more time and money on it.
I'm not qualified to comment further on civil matters and only from a
layman's perspective on criminal matters like extradition which seems to
be in and out of the news in the case of Julian Asange and where he's
concerned I'm as confused as everybody else. Just the same a suspect is
tried at "the scene of the crime" and not elsewhere because it's a matter
of the state vs. (insert defendant here). Don't confuse "state" with a US
State, rather it refers to "the people of" whatever govorning body is
involved, county, state, provence, country, whatever.
Possibly it would have opened a can of worms and you know that's a
qualified statement, there are SO many possibilities since names and much
more always come out in court. Consider an obvious one, under Sharia Law
which runs as an undercurrent in this country has all involved sentenced
to death before the fact I have my doubts anyone is willing to risk it
despite the witness protection program. It's not like the Secret Service
protecting government officials and their families for life, they're the
only ones worth spending such a vast amount of money on, everybody else
is expendible.
Of course the Pakistani government distanced itself from the minister's
statements, the US government cringes at the very mention of the mames
Romney and Ryan. (;->)

You lost me with that one, but in any case this whole scenario being
linked to 9-11 has special significance and SHOUTS to the world the
repricussions were carefully planned to achieve desired results and they
sure did. Somebody in a dimly lit smoke filled room said "Look what I
found, this is DYNAMITE."
Right, when it comes to the credit roll who cares? Nobody, everybody,
even the dumbest camel jockey knows those are all professional names
between people and the public with onion skin layers of corporate
disguises in between. That takes us back to a good reason why the civil
case was never heard, those layers get stripped away in court and once
the skin is removed the tears start.
