Hi Ian and all,

Eeesh, somebody's grammar needs adjusting. (;->) A callsign used as a
posessive pronoun looks weird, a proper name makes a proper pronoun as in
"G0TEZ Ian's history". Bob, are you sleeping behind that book you pretend
to be reading at the head of the class? (;->)

That niggling bit out of the way... you can do only so much fiddling with
the pixels in Google Earth before corruption sets in and the file becomes
unusable, the image very blurred. That's a composit image with segments
shot from overhead you're looking at, the software performs the tilt and
pan magic. Being a composit, new segments are being added all the time
making the image much clearer and the close up focus much better, that
also makes the software's job a bit harder and frankly it's time for an
update.

"...if I zoomed in, everything just got blurred..."

Past tense, but how far in the past? I'm just a bit confused, those
updared image segments are of a much higher resolution enabling a high
degree of zoom without getting blurry, it doesn't help the tilt and pan
however. Google Maps shares the image database so you'll notice the very
same changes, now there are fewer roads that go nowhere and fewer
misaligned segments that make the landscape look like it suffered a major
earthquake.

Now if you want a "road level view" I'm wondering if you have tried the
Street View feature of Google Maps. Oh, the one thing I find
disappointing is the absense of "Easter eggs" since the man on the street
discovered his identity paranoia. Since the images of people being caught
doing things unbecoming of a human were removed it's no fun anymore.
