Greetings all. I am Ross Glover at Auckland. I am interested in tracing links
to the name Stewart of Aberdeen who have drifted to South Africa and USA.
The name EDDIE of Fraserburg, Scotland. There are connections in the USA
especially through a female maiden name who sailed to the USA, 1915/16.
My Grandfather Glover a Cockney, served in the British Army in India around
1900. He had a brother who back around 1903 was a butcher in Orange NSW
before some years later moving to NZ and possibly settled in the Nelson Area.
His name I do not know. I recently learnt that there was a female Glover but
name unknown. If anyone in Edinburgh Scotland is researching the name FORBES,
My mothers, grandfather sailed to NZ in the 1800's and settled on the Kaipara
harbour. I hope this has stirred you fuzzy logic (brain).
Bye for now ..... Ross Glover ......Flying Ham ......Auckland.
A Ham since 1965 .........Auckland - Home of the Americas Cup, Yotting.
