Here comming an ather questions abt Echos.
I bought in 1976 an Kenwood TS-520 tranceiver who also operated with 12v
Around 1977 I builded an mobileantenna and tuned it mounted on my car
First tuned it with an grid-dip meter, and checked frequence on TS-520.
When I tuned the Mobile-antenna on 20m samthing hapened that I newer forgot.
I tuned with an carrier and look at SWR meter. And finaly it was OK.
I set on SSB and VOX was on, saing "Here is OH6PA testing".
When TX going of and RX on I heard "ting" I tryed seweral times and ewery time
I heard my own voice. I shifted fast to an ather frequence, several times.
The same ting happend again ( I think ther is samone joke with me )
It was about 10-15 minutes, then I newer heard my voice any more.
Note the power was around 80-90 watt to mobile wip around 2,5 m vith coil
From where com the reflections ?
I garantee that nobody cud shift the frequence like mee.
