Hi,
I spent a fair bit of time this weekend listening in to the many
IMW(International Museums Weekend) stations which were on the air. I
heard many M3 callsigns contacting them and in every case the conduct of
those M3 stations was impeccable.
I also noticed that there were lots of museums stations on the air which
were not in my list on the IMW web site. Most had taken part in previous
years and remained in the list on the web site, but were marked up in
red to indicate they had failed to register this year.
The problem.... I am faced with checking applications for IMW awards and
I need to know with reasonable certainty, which museums joined us over
the weekend so I can tick them off on the award claims as they arrive
here. You are required to confirm each year that you are taking part.
If you took part over the weekend in the IMW as a museum station and did
not register, can I please ask you to confirm that you took part before
the claims start to come in.
All I need is a quick phone call from you (0113 2866 897), an email, or
you can register at http://www.ukradioamateur.org/imw/page3.htm
If you are uncertain whether your museum was registered, then please
check the list of registered museums at http://www.ukradioamateur.org/imw

Note:- A red number on the left column indicates unregistered, a black
one indicates registered.
