Hello Dr. Om...
Thanks for reading this cry for help :-)
I've just receied a ADSP2181 (EZ-KIT lite)...
I've tried out the demo software that came in the box...
But! - The problem is that not realy ham-related software was included
(except a approx. 200Hz filter)...
The only way to write new software is in assembler language...
Well... For a eginner like me it's a bit hard to read and understand the
big fad clever books that came with the DSP...
I've seen some 4 Generation language (programming tools) for a DSP, but is
there any for ADSP2181???
Does anyone have a C-compiler?
Who has DSP software (prefered ham-related (filters to use at HF))...
Who has an "easy to understand"-"How to get started"-manual (paper) for the
ADSP2181???
Simply... I need all the help I can get...
I realy hope for some help from you, so don't hassetate (who has a keyboard
with build in spellchecker? ;-) ) to write...
Thanks in advance!!!

Answer from F1BIU:
Hello PER,
i just read your msg and i try to help you.
I wrote some filters for ham related applications .
- Stand-alone CW filters.
- Programmables single and double filters for packet, sstv, ssb.
- I created also a BF spectrum analyser.
Tom HB9JNX have done a double modem 1200/9600b with ezkit
Qex from USA have done autonotch, noise canceller, digital BFO and other
narrow filters for CW.
You can find all these programs on the french bbs F6RAC-1 Paris and
F6BVP-1 Paris, VHF 145.275 and 145.300
For ham application via internet, QEX and hb9JNX have a server.
Bye.

It all sounds very nice... - Has your programs been pulished on packet?
> Tom HB9JNX have done a double modem 1200/9600b with ezkit
I've also been told that some french amateurs (a group) has developed some
1200/1200 1200/9600 and 9600/9600 modem with the EZ-kit...

Thats really what I need :-) (I think)...

Well... It's a bit hard to get connected to them for me :-(

OK... - I've been searching the internet for DSP related material for
arround 6 hours this week :-(
Actually, I came up with nothing usefull... I've been using the search
engines (Web crawler, Yahooo, Jubiii, alta vista + FTP search) and maybee
many more... :-(
Therefore... I ask you to send me a copy of the files... Either via packet
as 7plus'ed archives (ZIP, ARJ, RAR, LZH)...
If you think the ammound of data is too much, then please send me your
adress, then I'll send you a disk...

Answer from F1BIU:
Hello, Per
I will give you a floppy disk 3.5inch with all of the applications I told you
before.
Sorry for help text written in french, try to find a friend who can translate.
If you want to run immediatly, run the files.bat, all the files will
run automatically.
Most of my programs are written in qbasic (inside the disk), it is easy
to read and understand, my aim is that oms will run their own programs
for ezkit and give me back their applications.( I hope you will.)
About modem 1200/1200 1200/9600 and 9600/9600, it is ONLY from HB9JNX,
(in the disk package). The french group is only me(hi) who have
only translated help text from english to french.
I have published hb9jnx modem soft with the way to run it.
You have to make a little hard modif, read the english help and
my picture in bmp.
The hard modif can remain and doesn't disturb the others applications.
You are allowed to publish in your country my applications, for applications
from QEX and HB9JNX you must obtain their permit.
Whatever, it's not allowed for commercial uses.
Friendly.
My 73 de Victor F1BIU.
