I have just come across what is termed as a Bare Bones Email client for
DOS.
Called the BareBones Solution the author offers a free dos email client
for dos users (uses approx 250kb of disk space - runs down to a 8086).
The URL is www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~jchap fir anyone who is interested.
I have yet to try it (maybe when time at weekend) but I would be interested
if anyone does and sends out reports on packet.
Ironically, considering the the website is part of a dos ring promoting
dos applications, I noticed that the web page source uses Javascript and
the MS Front Page editor :-)
