You were probably hearing Olivia - a strange and enchanting lady who 
speaks at multiple levels. Grab a copy of Multipsk for Windows or 
gMFSK (I think) also decodes it if you use Linux. 

Both decode via the mic socket - it's a strange old mode and seems to 
decode in chunks of text. You may have to play with the width 
settings but usually the standard setup will work
