Hi Warren(KB2VXA) and friends.
Thanks a lot for Warren's kind Bull posted on CQ BBS. It's my honor
to have the famous columnist's re; for me.
I've found out your PS in Dec.19th, 03 on my log that you asked me on
the X's meaning at Xmas season.
About MBL I'm neither the fan of BoRSox nor NY Yanks but what atract me
is the story on the long battling history as the good old rivalry.
Here in JA we have the same cheer & hate story between Tokyo Giants (JA1)
vs Hanshin Tigers (JA3) since late 1930's when our pro teams started.
I should say I like Bobby Valentine now managing Lotte Marines (franchized
near Tokyo) to be the Champion of Japan Series and even he made his team
as the Asian Champion (between JA,HL,BV,BY ).
After he led NY Mets to World Series he was invited to Lotte Marines when
they were hitting the bottom every season. And he promoted them to the 2nd
place right away. But unfortunately there emerged a divide between Bobby &
Japanese GM who won the status as themiracle manager by insisting the hard
discipline to his players. So many fans and the sports critics argued that
the club will not win the pennant without him.
There are the number of stories on the baseball relations over the ocean.
I don't think Matsui will become brighter without marry with any girl who
cook him the sweet Japanese dishes.
As you have a concern on Aussie soccer ( football) I think thier trends
in World Cup should be worth to notice in the coming year. They defeated
Urguay team by a slight margin.
